Thank You For Your Interest In The PLENTY

The keystone of a local currency is the network of participants willing to trade it. We're glad to report that the list of local merchants agreeing to accept the PLENTY is growing fast.

If you operate a retail business, home-based business, or farm, please consider accepting full or partial payment in PLENTYs for goods or services rendered. Everyone from landscapers to barbers, from babysitters to grocers to dentists can get on board. The more folks willing to accept the PLENTY, the greater the positive impact upon the community.

As a member of NCPlenty, you will receive an equal share of the initial issuance of PLENTYs (5 PLENTYs), voting rights, a listing in the printed NCPlenty Provider Directory, an online listing, and "PLENTY Accepted Here" display signs. NCPlenty also offers a variety of informal consultation services, including advice on determining an acceptance policy, presentations to employees on the benefits of receiving partial payment in PLENTYs, solicitation of goods and services not currently available for PLENTYs, and recommendations on how to spend accumulated PLENTYs.

Employees of NCPlenty Members are themselves eligible to become members when they agree to accept partial wages in PLENTYs. Employee Members receive the same issuance and voting rights as Provider Members, but are not listed in the directory. To join as an Employee Member, please use our Auto Signup system to join online. If you prefer, you can use our paper Employee Member Registration Form.
